In the recent hike in cases of viral illnesses including dengue fever and chikungunya, Pushpa mission hospital Blood centre issued a total of 1396 units of platelet concentrate (SEP:312 , OCT: 494, NOV: 590) Total 1396 issued during this quarter of year, with per day numbers as high as 70.

This was possible because of the refrigerated centrifuge machine of blood component separation. Our staff meticulously prepares PRP and platelet concentrate as per the recommended guidelines and stores them at proper temperatures.
